I'm a fourth year Political Studies student at the University of Saskatchewan. I've been involved in various non-profits over the past few years.

Debate and speech arts are important to me as it taught me to think critically and improve my research skills and articulation.

I hope to study public policy upon graduation and work in policy making.

I’m a Grade 12 student in Saskatoon. When not attending debating tournaments myself, I have been fortunate to be able to coach several students and pass on skills I've learned to others.

Debate is important to me because it provides an outlet to connect with others, think critically, and engage in other viewpoints.

I'm glad to be working with SEDA this summer because of all the invaluable skills debate teachers foster in youth who are not only mindful and informed but also change-makers and leaders in their community.

I'm a third-year student at the University of Saskatchewan pursuing a Bachelor of Arts & Science degree with a major in Interactive Systems Design.

Debate and speech arts are vital because they helps students discover and use their voice to communicate their message. I want to help provide the resources necessary to encourage youth to explore and express their creativity.

I hope to pursue a career in game design or website development upon graduation.

I’m studying Human Resources at Edwards School of Business. Previously, I attended Campus St.Jean at the University of Alberta for Secondary French Education.

In high school I had a very involved teacher who taught debate and made an enormous impact on my life. I see debate as a chance to gain new knowledge on important global topics and quick thinking skills.

I want to be able to make the world a little better. My career will move me towards my goal of wanting people to feel safe, wanted and cared about in the work environment.
